Choosing A Good Gamer PC Based On Specs

Choosing A Good Gamer PC Based On Specs

PC gaming is a pretty big thing these days which is why gaming computers are all the rage among video gamers who do not want to buy consoles. Of course, if one wants to be able to play games in a computer, then he or she must have a gamer pc. In order to create a good gaming pc, then he or she must know the specs of a good computer so that he or she may customize it and make it work well.

Now, the very first thing that one has to take a look at is the CPU. Most games need to have a minimum of two core processors in order to run. However, one needs to take note of the requirements of the game because other games would require a higher core processor than just the usual dual core processor.

After that, one has to then determine the definition requirements of the game. In order to play a game in full high definition, most processors have to be a least 2.5Ghz in the processor. Another way to determine this would be through checking whether the processor is an i5 or an i7 because i5 processors are the bare minimum for games while an i7 is the best type of processor for games.

Moving on from the processor, the next thing to take note of would be the graphic cards as that would directly affect gameplay. With regard to the motherboard, the motherboard has to have the compatible slots for the right dual graphic cards. At a minimum, the motherboard must first have the right SLI slot for the NVIDIA cards or it must have the right Crossfire slot for the AMD Crossfire cards which can run dual graphic cards.

With regard to the graphic cards, you need to get the ones that support the display settings. Good graphic cards would have memories of around 2GB and 4GB to play up to 60 frames per second. If you can, get a video card that can take up to 90 frames per second. This would help prevent lagging or slow running.

The RAM is the next thing to think about. Most of the motherboards would have RAMs that are either a DDR3 or a DDR4 as these are the best for gaming. As with the memory, 16GB to 32GB is a good range but 32GB may be needed for the really high def games with insane graphics.

Lastly, one has to consider the hard drive storage. HDD storage is probably the most common and must have a 7200RPM with a cache memory of at least 16MB in it. As for the storage memory, it is wise to have at least 250GB but if one can get a memory of up to 500GB, then all the better.

For those who want to build a gaming computer, these are the basic things to think of. Now, other things to add to that would be a good monitor, a gaming mouse, a gaming keyboard, cooling fan and a joystick. Those things are not that crucial though as they can be gotten later.
